Excitement is in the air as we KICK OFF THE 2023-2025 Biennium!

If you are new to the Greater Hartford area, a recent college graduate, or reconnecting with the Chapter, we extend a heartfelt welcome and look forward to greeting you personally!

Meetings of the Hartford Alumnae chapter are only open to duly initiated members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in good standing. Consequently, proof of membership is required and must be verified before admittance to the chapter meeting is granted. Visiting sorors should connect with the First Vice President (firstvicepresident@dsthartford.com) to discuss next steps for visiting a chapter meeting.

Δ   When are Hartford Alumnae Chapter Meetings?

Hartford Alumnae Chapter Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month (September -June) at 10:00AM. First time visiting sorors are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early as credentials are verified prior to admitting new members into the meeting.

Δ  What Should I Wear to Hartford Alumnae Chapter Meetings?

Business Attire is appropriate for most occasions except as specifically noted. Business attire is traditionally a business suit, dress, skirt, pants, sleeveless blouse, blouse and blazer – clothing, and religious head-wraps that reflect a professional style. Leggings worn as pants are not considered appropriate chapter meeting attire at any time. Wearing denim of any color and line jackets of any kind or color are inappropriate for Chapter Meeting. Ponchos and shawls containing symbols on one side or the crest on one side are appropriate and can be worn as a covering for chapter meetings.  Hats are acceptable excluding baseball hats, cowboy hats, bandanas or bucket hats. If there are questions about appropriate attire, please consult the Ritual, Protocol and Traditions Manual.

Δ  What Should I Bring to Hartford Alumnae Chapter Meetings?

We want you to always be Delta REaDy! Please pack all appropriate organizational documents to bring with you to the meeting. During your communication with the First Vice President, the recommended documents will be reviewed.

Δ   I Can't Find My Membership Number.  What do I do?

If you are not able to find your Membership Card, you will need to complete and submit the following forms at least 5 days prior to attending the meeting:
